The Atlantic Rain-Forest in the north of the mountain of the sea in Parana is a stunning set of state and national parks, private conservation areas and nature conservation. Conservation areas start in the first plateau in the region of Quatro Barras, Piraquara and Campina Grande do Sul. In this region, on the slopes of the mountain, are born the rivers that form the basis of the Iguaçu and part of Ribeira basin. The Atlantic Rain-Forest merges with the forest of pines, a unique combination on the planet.

In the coastal hillside, the city of Morretes and Antonina receive continuity of these parks that ultimately extend to the Canaanite in Sao Paulo, through Guaraqueçaba and Superaguí where, again, the Atlantic forest merges into mangroves and coastal forests.

All this vegetation has all this force because it is intertwined with a multitude of rivers, streams, springs, ponds and sea basins. I frequent the area of these parks for 25 years, 20 years ago with the camera in the neck. It’s time to select the photographic pearls and share.
